Day Fourteen (Monday September 14th) Horror films scare me.
Watched Romero’s 1968 Night of the Living Dead all by myself and what did I learn?? Fuck all! That I still don’t like scary movies, even more so while watching them on my own!!! If you suffer from insomnia, you won’t cure yourself by watching zombie ghouls trying to break into an old farm house to eat Johnny and Barbra! Idiot. Night of the Living Dead, although I say I hate horror films, is a pretty awesome flick. IMDB even gives it an 8/10 rating. Not bad.
Again, no enlightenment with forcing myself to be scared for 90 minutes while watching this horror film… No matter how scared I get and no matter how much I believe it’s unhealthy for your heart to beat that fast for 90 minutes straight, I secretly love horror flicks. Adrenaline junkie much? Maybe. And I don’t even have to leave my house!
Now go face a fear; do something that scares you!
